The public isn't buying Kerry's war stories
The Rasmussen tracking poll reveal a startling development: only 39% of the public believes Kerry is telling the truth about his Vietnam experiences. Thirty—one percent believe he is exaggerating, and another 15% believe he is lying. In other words, 46% believe his version of events — the keystone of his campaign — can't be fully trusted. Evidently, another 15% are undecided.
This cannot be good news for Kerry, or for his allies in the old media, who have done everything in their power to suppress the story of the Swiftvets' criticisms of Kerry's version.
