Kelo has triggered scriptwriters' dreams of yet another Law and Order series——Property Division.
 
In the first episode, Ted Burns, whose modest family farm  overlooks  the Severn River, gets wind that the Mayor's brother— in— law wants to open a crab house on the Burns'  property. Ted hies to the nearest property law attorney who advises him to turn his den into an abortion clinic, explaining it may be the only way  to obtain judicial scrutiny of the taking and save the farm.
