Saintly institutions

By

Roger Kimball has a wonderful, highly—rewarding essay in the New Criterion (which he edits), hereby recommended to all. Nothing can do justice to his prose style, but he basically skewers the prejudices of the smart crowd, with certain institutions and iondividuals automatically regarded as good, and others (including President Bush, me, and probably you) as the work of Satan. This one's a treat.
