Poll watch

By

Bush is up 16 in Louisiana. The South won't be voting for Kerry. (Gore lost by 9 % last time) . This poll might explain why Kerry has pulled his ads there.  Republican Vitter is running ahead so far for open Senate seat too.

Bush is even in one poll, down 1 in a second poll in Minnesota. That state is changing is political colors, in a remarkable political remake, which seems to fly below the major media radar. For the first time, Bush is ahead in Iowa, by 1 point, after being slightly behind in prior polls.

Iowa, Wisconsin, and  Minnesota could be breakthrough states for Bush, that would insulate him from a loss of New Hampshire and or Nevada (over Yucca Mountain).
