One million dollars
The family of California Democrat House member Maxine Waters have earned over one million dollars from comhe Representative has helped out in her role in Congress. The Los Angeles Times, which has been recently been publishing some good journalism for a change, is all over the story.
She is far from alone, of course, but her self—righteousness and pretense of standing up for the poor and oppressed make this kind of cashing in particularly odious.
