NYT headline contradicts article, spins for Kerry

By

The front page, above—the—fold headline in today's New York Times: "Bush Leads. Make That Kerry. Why Can't the Pollsters Agree?" supports what Kerry's spinmeisters have been claiming these last few days —— that while Bush is ahead in some polls, Kerry is ahead in others.  But read the actual article and you find that of the ten major polling results cited —— registered voters and likely voters for five major polling organizations —— you find that Bush leads in eight and is tied in two.  Kerry does not lead in a single one!
