New movie about Pope John Paul II

By

The BBC reports that a new film on the early years of Karol Wojtyla, titled Karol: The Man Who Became Pope, is to receive its premier on Italian television Monday night. The article mentions a production budget of 11 million Euros (roughly 12.8 million dollars), meaning that if it is a television movie it is probably a European co—production pf several networks.

I realize that Americans do not like subtitled movies very much, and are less accustomed than Europeans to the awkwardness of dubbing. Nevertheless, given the high level of interest in this man, I hope that an American outlet for the movies will be found quickly. I want to see it.
