Missing headline: worker income soars

By

The income of US workers is growing much faster than previously thought, a positive sign for economic growth. Wage and salary income, which includes income in the form of stock options and bonuses, was $92 billion higher in the first quarter than previously estimated. I wonder how the New York Times will square this with their May 23rd editorial decrying that wages are lagging inflation and that worker's paychecks "are shrinking."  Time for a correction, New York Times?
