Well the secret is out — the one that will doom Michael Chertoff's nomination as head of Homeland Security: he's the son of a rabbi who sent his children to private Jewish religious schools. 

Yes, he's obviously part of Bush's right wing religious cabal——a religious fanatic who will punish non—believers and especially Muslims, stripping them of cherished American rights. After all, he also had a part in writing the Patriot Act, and he went after Hillary.

Prediction: the above facts, clothed in much nicer, gentler language, will be used by Chertoff's  detractors to oppose his nomination.  Good: their small mindedness and pettiness will be exposed for all. The anti—religion jihad by the sucular fundamentalists has gone far enough to discredit itself.

In the meantime, best wishes to Michael Chertoff on his nomination.
