Look, Ma! No pesticides!

The Scotsman does yeoman's work again, and was immediately on top of the Sarin nerve gas 155mm artillery shell detonation in Iraq today.  It was only a few months ago, that The Scotsman said that a leaked report from Charles Duelfer, head of the Iraqi Survey Group, showed that the Iraqi Survey Group (ISG) had hard evidence of Iraqi WMDs.  But this is a significant event in another way.

What is surprising to American Thinker readers, is that ISG has apparently ceased the obfuscation and downplaying of WMD finds by Coalition forces in the field, by actually confirming the presence of Sarin in the projectile, rather than claiming it was pesticides, as has been done in the past.

Perhaps the intell squirrels realize the American public isn't buying their multi—level disinformation campaign  anymore.  They appear to have struck their colors on trying to cover—up an inept search effort, or in trying to unseat the best SecDef in history.  What is bad for their bureaucratic internal war, is good for the country.
