Reader Mark Eichelaub writes us about the cover story in Time Magazine on Kofi Annan:

As we all know, the mainstream media's and liberal extremes have a passion for protecting each at whatever sneaky cost and this time article is a perfect example of that. The story says that the only people pressuring Annan to step down are a small group of conservatives.  I thought the people who want Annan investigated AND to step down if found of improper conduct was EVERY AMERICAN WHO PAYS TAXES.  That was billions of tax payers dollars that wound up in his son's pocket, Saddam's pocket and God only knows who else's pocket.  This is why EVERYONE should be upset or is it just conservatives who give a damn anymore?  Anyway, this story really had me steaming.
