Columbia University in New York was one of the first universities in the country to openly institute a quota system against bright Jews.  They justified this by  labeling it geogrphical diversity because so many Jews lived in New York and the East Coast then.  Now the admissions officers weed out qualified students by promoting affirmative action and diversity. 

The students who enter those hallowed halls are then subject to harassment and warped scholarship as described  in the New York Daily News.
