Good news from the UN
The UN Security Council is about to rotate half of its non—permanent membership, as it does every year. And the changes in membership are quite favorable to the United States, as pointed out by the New York Sun. Most significantly, out goes Germany, in comes Japan, a very solid US ally, and not incidentally, the second largest contributor to the UN budget after the United States. Socialist Spain leaves, while Denmark, acutely concerned with Islamic terror, joins.
Good news from the UN is pretty rare, so this is to be savored.
