Germans waking up?
After decades of censoring press mentions of so—called "honor killings" within the Islamic communities of Europe, the press in Germany is starting to pay attention. For those who don't know, "honor killings" occure when relatives of a woman kill her because she has been sexually defiled — either by her own choice, or even as a victim of rape.
Der Spiegel, the equivalent of Time carries an article with the title, "The Whore lived like a German."
