Carlos Garcia of Dayton, Ohio ("A Grateful and Proud Citizen since 1980") is a regular letter writer to us, one we have come to know and enjoy. We'd like to share his thoughts on the election with you:

Is there any doubt?

So much is being said in the last days after the election, that I am compelled to write my own observations for what is worth. The postmortem declarations of the left are amazingly so wrong! Not only on the ways they point out the miserably failure of they empty suit candidate John Kerry, but their reasoning of why Bush won! It seems to me that they do not have a clue! From the NY Times & 527's to the TV and Radio Networks, et al, keep denigrating the right, specially the Evangelical Christian and their Conservative moral Values. How can they expect this huge voting block to come to their side if they ignore, lampoon and called them fanatics and other choice names?

I believe that the left does not understand their support for Bush, because of their secular worldview. Evangelicals, Catholics, and people of faith have a different world view where there is room for God and really believe that He intervenes in the affairs of men! Have they ever considered the possibility that despite their all out attacks and vile hate for Bush, God caused a direct Divine Intervention, to handle a decisive Victory to Bush?

Who after all is one of us, a man of faith, integrity, courage, character and honor, who has done everything in his power to keep us safe, despise the war in: Irak, Afghanistan, high oil prices, corporate scandals, the press only reporting the bad & ugly, and the constant attempts by the terrorists to deal another blow to America. In addition the position of some key Countries, who are surprised that America is a Christian Country and still values Character in their Leaders!

As an Evangelical, I believe God has spared our beloved Country from another appeaser (Kerry) who still believes the UN is the best place to go to resolve the world problems! A place full of Despots, Dictators and other type of crooked leaders, who have being stealing from the Oil for Food program in Irak, and use American soil and means of communication, to disseminate their lies about our Country, while living high in the hog! They must be brought to justice and make them accountable to the American people, who after all receive from our tax dollars!

Perhaps, in two years, after the Republicans consolidate super majorities in both houses of Congress, the lefty Democratic Party will come to their senses and will finally start selecting reasonable people in position of leadership and electing new blood in their ranks, which are conservative and really want to serve their Country and not their own agenda. They claim to be tolerant and yet they are the most intolerant people, when it comes to people of the Christian and Jewish faith. They just don't get it!

If there ever was any doubt that God intervenes in the affairs of men and nations, the 2004 USA Presidential Elections might go into History as the one He showed his hand. God bless America.
