A Jewish cemetary has been vandalized in France, the latest incident in a wave of hundreds of Jew—hating acts perpetrated in the last year in France. This time, the location was not the suburbs of Paris, but a town near Strasbourg, where my French ancestors hailed from. President Chirac expressed outrage the Israel's Prime Minister urged French Jews to essentially run for their lives to Israel. Each new incident underscores how wrong Chirca is to downplay the seriousness of French hatred for Jews.
