French admission
France is now admitting that its troops were unilaterally dispathced to the Ivory Coast with no UN consultation, much less sanction, fired into crowds of youth in Abidjan, the capital city. France claims that the mob was armed with automatic weapons, which is, of course, possibly true.
Nevertheless, where is the world outrage over soldiers firing into crowds of civillians? What is the French press writing about the actions of its own government? Has anything like the criticism aimed at the UNited States been found int he French media?
France is not only a corrupt government, it is the biggest hypocrite (a word of French origin, we might note) among the democracies of the world.
