Jamie Gorelick, 9/11 Commission member and future witness, wrote a column this morning in the Washington Post (dubbed "The Ministry of Truth by our Douglas Hanson), attempting to exonerate herself from any responsibility for the intelligence failures leading to 9/11. It is the sort of piece which gives a bad name to self—serving evasion and half—truth telling. In short, it is the precisely the sort of slow—moving softball which just begs for a Fisking.

Our bretheren at Power Line have not only beaten us to the punch, they have said pretty much all that needs to be said on the subject. The post is thorough, somewhat lengthy, and devastating.
