Fetus kidnapping?
The AP is running a very strange headline: "Bail Denied In Fetus Kidnapping Case."
The subject is Lisa Montgomery, accused of cutting a baby out of the mother's womb in Missouri and takingn the baby to Kansas. But, once born, there is no question that it was a baby (it always was, of course, but some prefer the term "fetus" for various reasons).
I can only suspect the motives behind the illogical terminology. I think it must be a reaction to the media use of the term "baby" for for Conner Peterson, murdered by his father Scott Peterson, along with his mother Laci. Someone, somewhere decided to fight back, in the interest of "abortion rights."
