Unsurprisingly, many EU foreign ministers have been condemning the Israeli assassination of  Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

Even the British FM, Jack Straw took the EU line by saying that the killing of a man in a wheelchair is unjustified, and it would be unlikely to achieve the desired objective.

Of course, that implies that the man in the wheelchair doesn't have the blood of hundreds or even thousands of innocent Israelis on his hands.

Equally, if the Israeli objective were to kill him,  it appears to have worked.
