Does the Right remember? Does the Left?

By

Does the Right remember the Abu Graib? asks the Washington Post. Only someone who chooses to read very small portions of the news would ask such a question.  One example would be Anne Applebaum of the Washington Post in her article bearing the title in the first sentence.

Of course the right remembers this incident.  Does "the left" remember that the involved soldiers are under investigation and will be punished if they are found guilty.  Should AMERICANS get any less than a fair investigation.

Is Ms. Applebaum suggesting the Americans be treated and tried by the same measures as Al—queda, Taliban and other terrorists who wear no uniform, have allegiance to no countries and have no accountability to anyone?

It sickens when me an American shows their "patriotism" by letting their ugly anti—American head rear itself to champion the rights of the poor poor terrorists and jump to point fingers at Donald Rumsfeld and Alberto Gonzales.

"Alberto Gonzales, along with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, is among those who bear the most responsibility",

Applebaum says.

The people who are most responsible aren't the ones who carried out the acts in Abu Ghraib?  The ones who are under investigation.  Another example of liberal condescension. (The troops can't do anything for themselves—they have no free will to speak up or make their own decisions — they only do what Gonzales and Rumsfeld told them.)  Of course Applebaum can't prove anything about who ordered what done, but the evidence is a minor and inconvenient impediment in making such shallow arguments.

Of course Applebaum, and any other terrorist—right protecting liberal, NEVER mentions the number of lives SAVED through coerced testimony or the number of terror plots thwarted based on testimony recieved when a terrorists may have been "uncomfortable."

Why wouldnt she mention this?  It doesn't fit her template.  It's an inconvenient fact that always get in the way of her version of reality.

In the next few days I will highlight a few of the terror plots thwarted through "coercion".  This testimony was obtained by people who care more about Americans (people who deserve security in America!) than they care about people who want to kill us.

I cannot fathom how the liberals in this country lack the moral fiber to see this and how they got so upside in their priorities.
