Teresa Heinz Kerry gets her way as often as the average billionaire. Meaning just about always, regardless of the right and wrong of the particular situation. Who is going to tell her that she owes an apology to someone she abused? Certainly not her husband, John F. Kerry, whose lavish lifestyle depends on her checkbook.

So even though Teresa was caught on videotape using the word 'anti—American' and then caught again a few moments later denying using the very same phrase, and berating a reporter for 'putting words into her mouth,' her defenders already include her husband Senator Kerry, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Salon.com. They are obviously hoping that the story will blow over quickly, especially if friendly media are able to portray it as just another squabble between Republicans and Democrats, rather than as a lie followed by a mean—spirited attack.

But Terry Kerry is a ticking time bomb for the Kerry Edwards campaign. The lady has 'issues,' as they say.
