Daily Telegraph hypocrisy about 'Nazi' slurs
Readers may remember that we reported on a the Daily Telegraph slandering the American military stationed in Iraq, as allegedly thinking of the Iraqis as "untermenschen," a Nazi term for racially inferior groups, quoting an anonymous British source.
Today, the Telegraph has shown itself to be a nest of hypocrites of the highest order, by complaining on their front page about the proprietor of another UK newspaper who has made Nazi jokes about the Telegraph Group and their potential new owners, the Axel Springer Group of Germany. At a meeting between directors of the Express Newspaper and Telegraph newspaper, Richard Desmond, owner of the Express made fun of his Telegraph counterparts by signing 'Duetchland Uber Alles' and marching around the meeting yelling 'Sieg Heils'.
All in all, pretty tame stuff considering that Mr. Desmond was clearly joking. But not according to those Prima Donnas at the Telegraph, it was just all too much for them:
'The Telegraph executives walked out of the meeting. Jeremy Deedes, the Telegraph chief executive, said it was a "grotesque outburst of slander and racism".'
The bare faced hypocrisy of the Telegraph directors is startling. Pot, Kettle, Black.
