Condi and the NAACP

I am mystified by the treatment Dr. Rice has recieved both over this piggish Chavez incident as well as her rise to Secretary of State. One might think the NAACP would rise to both exult in her achievement as well as raise their voice in indignation over the Chavez slurs. I have enclosed the NAACP press releases. In reading these I can only deduce that Dr. Rice has neither advanced nor is she a colored person.
