Ratherbiased.com, the website in Dan Rather's nightmares, is tracking a CBS News outreach to the blogosphere — to the left wing blogs only, of course. Specifically, CBS was promoting a 60 Minutes (Wednesday version — the same show which brought us the bogus Rahergate memos) story on American deserters. All of this taking place as everyone at CBS News is still awaiting the Thornburgh Report.

The whole story is quite amusing and there are plent of links. Future text books on the history of communications are going to find this story of old media feeling its way through new media to be quite instructive.
