brain damage not always irreversible
Persistent vegetative state, the diagnosis with an agenda, has once again been shown to be far from irreversible. In the latest happy instance, a firefighter
brain—damaged in a 1995 roof collapse had an "amazing" weekend, recognizing and speaking with his four sons and other family and friends for the first time in years, a family spokesman said Monday.
Terri Schiavo is dead now, so she will never have an amazing weekend.
