Blair sits down with Libya's Gaddafi

By

After years of Libyan isolation, Tony Blair, the British PM, has arrived in Tripoli this morning for a meeting with Colonel Gaddafi. The American and British good cop/bad cop routine has worked well so far in convincing Libya to give up its WMDs, and settle the Lockerbie compensation package. However, Blair's path remains risky as it's still too early to tell whether Gadaffi's change for the better will be a lasting one.
