BBC says Europeans pity Bush
This piece of BBC analysis really is farcical. The article is titled:'In Blair Bush trusts?' This kind of anti—Bush bias from the Beeb is almost funny except for the fact that the British taxpayers' have to fund it.
The commonly—held European view of President Bush — let's not mince our words here — is one approaching pity.
They feel pity for Bush? That implies that they feel sorry for Bush, and is about as far from the truth as one can get. They loathe and hate him but 'pity' doesn't come into it. It seems that the BBC have to denigrate Bush somehow and obviously think that 'pity' is the right way to express it. It's an abhorrently biased statement and totally erroneous.
He is not a stupid man. His mind does not meander as uncertainly through the world as his language, but neither is he the jolly cowboy that his image—makers would have us smile at.
Oh, so he isn't a cowboy after all — according to the BBC. But then they go on to say:
The cowboy stands on ceremony, at least when he wants to.
So now he is a cowboy after all. The BBC seems to get more confused every day. Everyone should read the rest of this so—called analysis — it represents BBC journalism as it's most vacant.
