An astute reader of The American Thinker (sorry for the redundancy) points out that my piece detailing Chevy Chase's offensive tirade directed at the President of the United States last week incorrectly credited the unfunnyman as being an alumnus of Bard College. Genuine Bard alum Mr. Katz pointed out that Chase holds merely an honorary degree from the college, and was reputed to have coincidentally been bestowed this honor after a hefty contribution to Bard College.

I hereby offer my apologies to all graduates of Bard College for lumping Chase in with you.

Mr. Katz also provides the valuable service of reminding us that Chase's real first name is Cornelius.
