The New York Times is becoming quite the billboard for well—funded groups touting their agendas. Today there was a full—page ad that on the surface was a call for "peace in the Middle East."  As a slogan..who could argue with that? (Well...many extremist Islamists and their apologists). However this is a charade, for the ad blames Israel for the impasse and also the American government for supporting Israel. Note that the ad was put out by a foundation headed by a Columbia professor (Bruce Robbins) roundly criticized for his bias against Israel and who may be under the scope as part of the probe at Columbia University regarding bias among their faculty members.
