A state of nature of their own

By

There are definite hazards to building a political culture on the basis of violence against one's enemies. Internecine struggles always tend to be more bitter than those directed outward, and, as the saying goes, what goes around, comes around

The Palestinians are probably the best case in point. According to the Washington Post  Palestinian Authority government buildings have been burned by the leader of al—Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

Remind me why anyone thinks these people deserve a state of their own. A state of nature precludes a genuine political state.
