Glenn Reynolds of Intsapundit does a terrific job of taking down fatuous left wing blowhard Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa, who had the gall to call VP Cheney a 'coward.' Harkin, who should have long retired from public life in disgrace for falsely claiming to have been a combat fighter pilot in Vietnam, would be an object of  widespread press derision, had he been a Republican is a very odd choice for an attack dog surrogate. Glenn documents the lies.

If Kerry were smart, he would denounce Harkin. But he won't. Iowans should be embarrassed over their Senator.
