A helpful suggestion
Reader David Boyles has a suggestion for moving the UN out of New York City:
I read your article regarding the UN's desire to have New York's tax payers pay for the UN's renovation and expansion.
I have an alternative suggestion:
Relocate the United Nations to Cuba.
This has distinct advantages.
1. Lower overhead than New York City.
2. No one to spy on but Castro.
3. Keeping track of all those diplomats and their staffs would drive Castro nuts.
4. Having to sit through Castro's famous four hour speeches will drive the UN diplomats nuts.
Sounds like a perfect match.
