Two prominent members of the blogosphere have made cross—border Swift Boat raid of their own, delivering a cache of intellectual weapons to the readers of the Minneapolis Star—Tribune. John Hinderaker and Scott Johnson, known to readers of the superb Powerline website as Hind Rocket and The Big Trunk, have been serving oour country admirably by investigating the consistency (or lack thereof) of Kerry's claims about his Vietnam service on the web. Now, the largest newspaper in their state of Minnesota is sufficiently embarrassed by its own blockade of the story to publish an op—ed by them on the subject.

Powerline's intellectual rigor and depth, not to mention its intelligence and wit, have long been an inspiration to me and this website. The success of two of Powerline's three principals in running the print blockade adds to the luster. Well—done!
