When did the United States run out of Americans in need of assistance?
“One in five children under age 18, or 21.3%, are living in poverty in the United States, according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau.” Americans are increasingly dependent on some form of welfare, are unemployed or underemployed, losing their health insurance, their homes and life savings. America’s veterans are left to die while awaiting care in VA hospitals while VA officials received bonuses after falsifying their records.
Nonetheless, President Obama has asked Congress for $1.4 billion to feed, house, and clothe thousands of children and adults from Central America and Mexico who have illegally entered the U.S. The governments of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala are facilitating the invasion despite receiving billions of dollars in foreign aid from the U.S. to take care of their own people.
According to government sources reported by Fox News:
In its new estimates, the government said as many as 60,000 children, mostly from Central America, could be caught this year trying to cross the Mexican border illegally, costing the U.S. more than $2.28 billion to house, feed and transport the children to shelters or reunite them with relatives already living in the United States. The new estimate is about $1.4 billion more than the government asked for in Obama's budget request sent to Congress earlier this year.
The price tag for Americans will exponentially increase because Obama has no intention of securing our border. His dereliction of his constitutional and statutory duties is obstructing border enforcement by turning our U.S. Border Patrol into nannies doing laundry, changing diapers, and feeding and warehousing a “refugee” crisis of Obama’s making. Mexican drug cartels are exploiting the diversion by moving more drugs and illegal immigrants across our border without resistance.
Those who object to the enablers in the White House and Congress funding illegal immigrants invading our southern border are said to lack "compassion." House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is headed to the Texas border to pump out more taxpayer-funded aid to illegals rather than increase funding of our Border Patrol. According to Her Benevolence:
The humanitarian crisis unfolding across our nation’s southern border demands Congress come together and find thoughtful, compassionate and bipartisan solutions[.] ... We must ensure our laws are fully enforced, so that due process is provided to unaccompanied children and the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children is protected. We must also work to address the root causes of the problem.
Ignored by the Obama administration and his apologists in media, politics, and religion, there is a mandate that is both biblical and constitutional.
For those in the church, provision for one’s family is a personal responsibility before caring for others:
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (I Timothy 5:8)
For the United States, the welfare of its citizens is its first priority above all others:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Although the Preamble to the Constitution is not substantive law, it clearly expresses the intent of the Framers. It was written by Americans to secure the defense, well-being, and liberty of Americans.
Another American abandoned thus far by Obama, Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, has been imprisoned in Mexico since March 31. Unfamiliar with the area, Tahmooressi unintentionally crossed into Tijuana while in possession of guns that he lawfully owns under U.S. law.
A decorated combat veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan, Sgt. Tahmooressi immediately informed Mexican authorities that he had guns in his car, explained that he didn’t intend to cross the border, and apologized. His apology was for naught.
Now we’ve learned that last Thursday morning, a Mexican military helicopter crossed the border into Arizona and shot at U.S. Border Patrol agents, according to Breitbart.com. Apparently, it’s okeydokey with Obama because Mexico “apologized.”
Obama has failed to lift his infamous phone to secure Tahmooressi’s release despite a petition to the White House with more than 100,000 signatures. Obama’s consiglieri, Eric Holder, the contemptuous U.S. attorney general, didn’t dispatch a fleet of lawyers to aid in Tahmooressi’s defense as he did for the illegals who’ve invaded our border.
Sgt. Tahmooressi’s third lawyer, paid for by his mother, is urging “patience” from supporters, saying:
It makes no difference if it is a mayor, governor, or the president, there's not a phone call in the world that will change this.
I’m thinking this call from Obama to the President of Mexico will “change this”:
“Here’s how it’s going down. You will have my Marine immediately escorted to the U.S. border into the arms of his mother. You will stop illegal entry from Mexico into the United States. Failure means that you will never see another dime of U.S. aid on my watch. And I will place a moratorium on travel into Mexico from the U.S. You will keep your helicopters in Mexico, or the U.S. military will be using them for target practice.”
