Aiding Islamist Propaganda
In the latest clashes between the Egyptian Army and Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, at least 51 mostly Muslim Brothers were killed near a Cairo military building, prompting Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie to vilify -- you guessed it -- Jewish people.
"Even the Jews have never done to Egypt what the army did," Badie stated. Whatever happened, one thing rings clear. The Muslim Brotherhood maintains no love for Jews, living or dead.
How much stranger does it look now, that in May 2013, U.S. Rabbi Jack Bamporad organized trips to Auschwitz for Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) members. ISNA is a North American Muslim Brotherhood organization and unindicted coconspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorist funding case that ended in November 2008 with 108 convictions on 108 charges of terror finance and tax fraud, among other things.
Yet, according to a May 2013 Huffington Post item, "Imams Visit Auschwitz, Nazi Death Camp, Pray For Holocaust Victims," ISNA and the Saudi, Jordanian, Bosnian, Indonesian, Nigerian, and Turkish imams visiting Auschwitz, partly under the auspices of the U.S. State Department, represent bastions of love and regret over harm done to the Jewish people.
"What can you say? You're speechless. What you have seen is beyond human imagination," Imam Mohamed Magid, President of the U.S.-based Islamic Society of North America, told Agence France-Presse."
Nothing could be further from the truth, as demonstrated by the Jew-hatred last week of Mohammed Badie. At least one of the imams who participated in this grand interfaith gesture at Auschwitz and other imams affiliated with ISNA have a history of inciting anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, and anti-American rhetoric and often deliver that vitriol in messages exclusively to their own Muslim audiences while deceiving everyone else by outwardly appearing to be moderate and preaching religious tolerance and mutual respect.
In the summer of 2012, ISNA national director Mr. Sayeed Sayeed spoke at the Chautauqua Institution in Western New York, ostensibly promoting greater appreciation and understanding of Islam to an audience of primarily non-Muslims. A month after the Chautauqua lecture, the very same Mr. Sayeed invited a group of speakers for ISNA's national convention, some of whom are known Islamist radicals who routinely make appallingly hate-filled statements in their public speeches and sermons.
Here are just a few examples:
Imam Muzammil Siddiqi, the former president of ISNA, who joined Rabbi Bamporad to the Auschwitz trip, once told a Muslim crowd chanting pro-Hezbollah slogans that: "America has to learn if you remain on the side of injustice, the wrath of God will come."
On wife beating, Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, has said that: "In some cases a husband may use some light disciplinary action in order to correct the moral infraction of his wife... The Qur'an is very clear on this issue."
Another guest speaker at last year national ISNA convention was Imam Yasir Qadhi. He has been recorded cursing Jews and Christians, making the following statement, among many:
"Allah told us to fight the Jews and Christians. Fight them until they give jizya. They give this protective tax from their hands and they are humiliated and subdued. If Islam, true Islam and true Muslims do not rule there will never be justice. Don't think that Barak Obama can give you justice. No one can give you justice except a just Muslim ruler."
Mr. Sayeed Sayeed, the national director of ISNA, whose interfaith lecture is mentioned above, was caught on tape in a new film by IPT titled "The Grand Deception". In it, Mr. Syeed is quoted saying: "our job is to change the Constitution of America." From the same film, an agent interviewed on camera recounts how he saw a banner at an ISNA event in the Midwest that read: "DEATH TO ISRAEL! DEATH TO AMERICA!"
Interestingly, during the Q/A session of Mr. Sayeed's presentation at Chautauqua, someone challenged him regarding the hateful speakers that are invited to the upcoming ISNA convention. Mr. Sayeed responded that the imams were doing great work in their communities, and that they have gone through such a transformation since their arrival to the U.S. He insisted that they learned the beauty of democracy, earned PhD's, and finally, as the greatest evidence he could master, to underscore the extent of their transformation and openness, he cited the imam's trip to Auschwitz.
By invoking the honor we in the west hold for the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, Mr. Sayeed hoped to convey the idea that the imams' visit to Auschwitz must be proof of evolving Islamic sensibilities. In an attempt to conceal what these Imams actually teach in their own mosques, he tells the non-Muslim audiences how some of these Muslim clergy, who were previously influenced by Saudi Arabia, have now been transformed so that they were ready to visit a concentration camp where Jews were slaughtered.

Mr. Sayeed expects the mere exercise of lip-service and a strategically placed photo opportunity by Islamists to absolve them of their vile statements. If David Duke, Louis Farrakahn, or any other racial supremacist visited a concentration camp, few would consider such an act sufficient in exonerating their hate speeches. As far as we know, there has not been any formal apology or retraction by these Imams for their offensive statements and incitements throughout the years.
For those of us who know the facts, (ISNA is listed number one on the Muslim Brotherhood's Strategic Goals for North America), the Muslim Brotherhood political supremacist doctrine is no better than Nazism. Haj Amin Al Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was a Muslim Brotherhood member and fully collaborated with Hitler. From Berlin he called for the final annihilation of the Jews. According to the article, Rabbi Bamporad thanked the imams for joining him and expects that "any kind of Holocaust denial or Holocaust revisionism is simply out of the question." Rabbi Bamporad would have been better served had he challenged his imam friends to denounce Haj Amin Al Husseni's anti-Jewish rhetoric and vile intentions and apologize for the role of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Holocaust.
Collaboration with the ISNA under the pretext of fostering friendship, mutual respect and understanding, especially for Jews, is egregious. Rabbi Bamporad's attempt to include ISNA members among those who decry the atrocities of the Holocaust only strengthens and empowers their position. They exploit our naïve collaboration which serves as a tool for Islamists to stifle any genuine criticism of Islam by controlling the narrative. Sharia doesn't allow freedom of inquiry regarding Islam, and therefore, its followers suppress valid critique under the pretext that criticism in any form is racism, Islamophobia, or bigotry. In fact, they equate Islamophobia with anti-Semitism as a way of deflecting attention from their history of anti-Semites.

After all, interfaith dialogues do not examine or acknowledge historical truth where Islam is concerned. Rather, they revolve around the false premise of how Muslims are discriminated against in the west and how inclusive and tolerant Islam has been for millennia. You will never hear them mention or apologize for the brutal history of devastation or massacres carried out against non-Muslims since the inception of Islam.

The superficial euphoria at seeing all faiths smiling together in harmony is the ultimate idealists' dream, yet, it belies the reality that too many imams, including members of the ISNA, actively teach hatred of and destruction of all who will not submit to their prophet, Allah, and the Sharia. This deception gives them a pass for visiting Auschwitz, but cripples the opportunity for honest intellectual challenge and debate. The charade of interfaith dialogue with Islamists is a shortcut to diminishing self-respect and the courage to protect our freedom of speech and dignity as free Americans and free people.
