'We Must Unite'
As conservatives, we tend to be idealistic. We often look back to the founding of our country and think that everything went smoothly and the Founding Fathers agreed on everything. They had, in fact, very differing opinions, on many important topics. But they realized one critical fact: in their war against tyranny, it was essential to be united. Ben Franklin recognized this. Before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, he stated, "We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly, we shall all hang separately."
We find ourselves in the same situation today. There are too many among us who are quick to point out the flaws and shortcomings of Mitt Romney and thereby excuse themselves for not supporting him. To them, he is not the "ideal" candidate.
We, like the Founding Fathers, don't live in a world of absolutes. There is no such thing as an ideal candidate. We have our presidential ticket, and it is Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. They do espouse the principles of free government, and they will defend the Constitution.
On the other hand, President Obama has demonstrated his disdain for the Constitution. This is revealed by his many efforts to legislate through executive order and to circumvent the Constitutional process. Three glaring examples:
1. His health care insurance mandate that requires employers to provide free contraception (including abortion-inducing drugs), even when that violates their long-held religious views.
2. His unwillingness to enforce existing immigration law.
3. Making recess appointments when Congress was still in session.
Unwillingness to uphold the law and abide by the Constitution is tyranny. We are in a fight against just such a tyranny. Like the Founding Fathers, we must "join or die." The time is past for complaining about our candidate's imperfections. It is time for all people who love freedom to unite in support of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It doesn't matter whether you are members of the Democratic, Republican, Constitution, or Libertarian parties (or no party at all)...we must unite.
Our opponent will use every means at his disposal to divide us. He knows that is the only way that he will win. We cannot get complacent because some polls have turned in Romney's favor. Obama has yet to unleash his full wrath in this election, but he will assuredly do so.

If you love freedom, the time to support Mitt Romney is now. We don't need to compromise our principles, but we do need to unite. Our country may be able to recover from the economic destruction that Obama has encouraged, but our Constitution may not recover from four more years of this tyranny.
It's time to support Mitt Romney not only with your vote, but with financial contributions and donations of your time. In this fight against tyranny, "[w]e must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly, we shall all hang separately."
