Voter ID Showcases Democrat McLovins

Let's just call Democrats what they are when it comes to voter ID fraud: McLovin.

McLovin was the under-aged kid (Fogell) in the movie Superbad who got a fake ID to buy beer (yes, you need a photo ID to buy alcohol) for a party full of more under-aged kids.  Fogell ends up with a fake that shows him as a 25-year-old named McLovin.  The farce of the movie is that he should in no way be able to use an obviously bogus ID to buy liquor, but he pulls it off.

Art imitates life...Democrat-style.

Missouri Governor Jay "McLovin" Nixon's veto of the Republican-sponsored photo ID bill is another Democrat slap in the face to law-abiding, tax-paying citizens of Missouri.  The veto proves that Nixon couldn't care less about protecting the rights of Missouri citizens.  The truth is that Nixon is about empowering criminals and getting more illegal votes.

In a letter explaining his veto, Nixon said the photo ID requirement would have hurt senior citizens and people with disabilities who are qualified to vote but less likely to have a driver's license or other government-issued photo ID.  "Disenfranchising certain classes of persons is not acceptable," he said.

Besides having a pulse and the ability to fog a mirror, all it takes is to vote in Missouri is a utility bill, a bank statement, or a paycheck stub -- all things you can find dumpster-diving.  Bring in any of those easy-to-get items, and you get to exercise the constitutional right afforded all American citizens living in The Democrat Union of Socialists of Missouri.  It's like this in many Democrat-controlled blue states.

Why have the Democrats made voting so easy?  They want 100% access, or so they say.

A 2007 study by Washington University found that among blacks, young people, and low-income residents -- historically among the most loyal Democratic supporters -- about 80 percent of registered voters had access to a government-issued photo ID.  That compares with about 90 percent of white, middle-class, and middle-aged voters.

Even with all this voter disenfranchisement, in Missouri, it appears that it may not all be the fault of "the man."

Voter turnout in the November 2010 election in Missouri was 46.8%.  Apparently people are not feeling that disenfranchised when you consider that of the 80%-90% of the people in Missouri who are registered to vote, only 46.8% decided to vote.  (Note: The predominantly black area of St. Louis City experienced 37.7% voter turnout in the November 2010 election.  In 2008, St. Louis City had a 61.71% voter turnout, higher by double-digits than any area in the state in 2010.)

Democrats know that anybody in the country can get a valid state-issued photo ID...except illegals.  The fact is that in order for chaos to continue, Democrats need the votes of illegals.  They will do anything to get it, including persecuting law-abiding, tax-paying, productive Americans, otherwise known as citizens.

What next -- will Democrats allow illegals to serve on our juries?  Why not just elect illegals as judges?  But of course, we don't need illegals as judges -- we have Democrats.

In 2006, Republican lawmakers in Missouri passed a photo ID bill that was later struck down by the Missouri Supreme Court.  The court ruled that the law amounted to a "heavy and substantial burden on Missourians' free exercise of the right of suffrage."

Guess what the makeup was of the Missouri Supreme Court.

The Missouri Supreme Court requires seven justices.  In 2006, the Court had five Democrat governor-appointed justices.  In 2010, the names have changed a bit, but the court remains 5 to 2, Democrats to Republicans.  This ruling occurred in MO, despite the U.S. Supreme Court having upheld (6 to 3) voter ID requirements, most recently in 2008 in a case involving the state of Indiana.

Here's the wrap:

Black people, young people, old people, gay people, disabled people, and all other "victims" should be tired of being used as an excuse for Democrats to steal elections and ultimately the treasury.  Democrats know that 100% participation in anything is not possible, yet they demonize the impossible and blame Republicans.

Ask yourself what you must show valid photo identification for, and you can clearly see why this veto is nonsense.  You can't rent a car or cash a check without a valid form of photo ID.  You can't get a fishing license without a photo ID.  You can't ride Amtrak or sign up for American Idol without a valid photo ID.  But the ability to alter life as we know it in America can be done with a utility bill?

It will take more than the illegal vote or the voting dead to carry Democrats to victory in 2012.  But it does make one wonder just how stupid Democrats think we are.  Liberals can't stand it when the voting public discovers how the trick is done.  And they hate that we have exposed them for who they are: McLovins!
