Choose Wisely
America's past and present generations have fought for freedom, for liberty, and for our way of life. Each generation has risen to its challenges and has overcome tyranny, darkness, and oppression with the light of liberty.
What makes America the greatest nation in the history of nation-states? Simply stated: America's people -- past and present generations of "We the People." We the People broke the back of religious oppression and taxation without representation; We the People were courageous enough to make every man and woman, regardless of color or creed, free; We the People saved Europe, Asia, and countless nations from tyranny; We the People brought electrical power, automobiles, flight, space exploration, medical miracles, computers and the information age to the world; We the People freed 50 million enslaved and oppressed men, women, and children from Islamic fascism and totalitarianism. We the People: generations of Americans that have made America the greatest democracy in history.
Each generation was America's finest. Each rose above self, made the sacrifices necessary to preserve the union, and each of these generations earned the right to be called "America's Greatest Generation." Yet, there is so much more promise for America. Her greatest generation is yet to come. But that generation is counting on us to make the right decision now. Never in our history has so much depended on one choice.
We will all walk into that voting booth on November 4 and make a choice. Before we make that choice we must ask ourselves what we want for our children and grandchildren, what we want for our nation. Do we want socialism and a society dependant upon big government -- big brother "spreading the wealth" and having dominion over everything in our lives? Do we want an elitist group of leaders who demonize America and fault her for all the world's travails?
Or, do we want our children and grandchildren to experience the freedom of individual rights, of constitutional law, of free markets, of a culture of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that our past and present generations have fought and died for? Do we want to give our future generation of We the People the opportunity to rise to their greatest abilities?
We the People are at a crossroads. The choice is unmistakable. Senator John McCain is the right person for such a time as this. Shake off the illusions of the smooth talking radical left socialists. Summon the courage to make the right choice. Choose wisely for freedom loving generations to come, for our children and grandchildren's sake, for the sake of our great republic's enduring freedoms.
Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities... because it is the quality which guarantees all others. Winston Churchill
