Gorbachev's Gaia Graphics (2)

As a forensic handwriting analyst of more than thirty years, I too was struck by Gorbachev's logo for Green Cross International, when I read Jack MacKenzie's "article":http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=5320 on the subject in ??The American Thinker??. Because of the logo alone, I would be wary of the organization. This logo packs a subliminal impact that really misses the mark for any warmth and humanity. !http://americanthinker.com/images/greencross.bmp! When I first was shown this logo I saw the Swedish Cross as a swastika. Though it only took a second to correct what I was seeing, the illusion was there along with a cold feeling. The beauty of the Swedish Cross is completely cancelled out by the hardness of the rest of the logo. The all—green and light blue—green colors are not at all softened by any other warm color. Green is a cool color, and needs some yellow, orange, red or even violet to warm it up. Our forests look alive because of the beautiful bright flowers. This landscape logo has none. So we have further coldness to back up the swastika feeling. The leaf is a perfect leaf, not a natural leaf. There is no movement to it, no individuality, no bug bite or extra long point, nothing to make it unique. It wasn't meant to be unique. What is its purpose? This leaf is hard and unforgiving. Again, the purpose is subliminal. We are not unique individuals. The stem does not follow the overly thickened center of the leaf. It is separated, broken off. Along with the swastika, we are to see the scythe. But most of all, the letters themselves are forbidding. They are certainly stable, strong, secure and not easily moved. Nor do they move anyone else. There is no leaning toward others, no feeling for others at all. The letters stand straight up, which to a handwriting analyst means making decisions without emotion or feeling. Cold thought. They are also block form letters, with no one letter having any identification to make it stand out, not even the first letter. They are all the same, which gives us rigid and demanding conformity. People who print, do so usually to make their writing clearer. But in doing that they must slow down, and slowing down causes them to edit their words. It gives them more control over what they say and what they give away to others. Printing is okay, as we were taught to print before we learned script. It is simply not as spontaneous as script. But printing in capitals is not okay, as it is breaking the rules. We were taught to use capitals at the beginning of sentences and for proper names. A person who prints in all capitals is saying, "I don't have to follow the rules. I can make my own." It is a way of leading people to believe something that isn't. Commercials use this technique, softening it with small deviations. The logo does make one wonder what is the real purpose of the organization? Dos this organization mean to make all people march in rigid formation to their tune? Do they intend to control and demand conformity? I'm guessing yes. Finally, script hand printed in all capitals indicates a hidden agenda. It is writing that is intended to give out as little information about the author as possible. What is the hidden agenda here? Maybe this organization bears watching.
