Charles Duelfer, the new director of the Iraq Survey group, concludes that hard evidence does exist that Saddam had the ability to wreak terror with the weaponry.

Our columnist Douglas Hanson is shown to be correct in his two articles on the search for WMD in Iraq. Not that the American press has shown any interest in getting at the facts of the matter.

One would think that, having amply publicized claims that "Bush lied!" regarding Iraqi WMD capabilities at the time of our invasion last year, the American press would show more interest in the matter.

One would be wrong, though.
