If you pay attention to what the media tells you, the impression you’d get is that the primary victims of interracial violence are black people attacked by law enforcement officers. But that is at variance with the facts, which show:

This table can be used for a number of interesting calculations. First, we find that during the 2012/2013 period, blacks committed an average of 560,600 violent crimes against whites, whereas whites committed only 99,403 such crimes against blacks. This means blacks were the attackers in 84.9 percent of the violent crimes involving blacks and whites. This figure is consistent with reports from 2008, the last year DOJ released similar statistics. Perhaps not coincidentally, that was the year Mr. Obama was elected president.

Now, from Anaheim, California comes shocking video of a particularly heinous random attack on an 83 year old man, who happens to be Vietnamese, and whose attacker just happens to be black. The Los Angeles Times:

A 29-year-old man believed to be a transient was arrested Saturday for allegedly attacking an 83-year-old man at a Santa Ana shopping mall.

Demarrea Chante Barnes, 29, was arrested in Anaheim and booked on assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury, according to the Santa Ana Police Department. 

The attack occurred Friday at 6:10 a.m., and was captured on surveillance video.

The victim, identified by family members as Tuyen Nguyen, is seen shuffling toward the same store where they say he has purchased his coffee and newspaper nearly every morning for the last 15 years. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the attacker jumps into the frame and knocks Nguyen to the ground. 

The assailant then punches and kicks Nguyen as he lies on the pavement.

Mr. Nguyen suffered broken bones in his skull and a brain hemorrhage. His family say that he is in constant severe pain.
