Hard-left drivers of the 'new civil rights movement' demonstrations on Ferguson
The “spontaneous” demonstrations across America on Ferguson are widely populated by socialist and communist groups.
Here are four more groups adding to a previous post here.
(1) A.N.S.W.E.R. is active in street demonstrations in, at least, Chicago and Washington, D.C. It’s affiliation with the Party for Socialism and Liberation was established in previous American Thinker posts.
(2) The International Action Center (IAC) passed out signs in New York City.
Here’s how the IAC describes its mission:
“The International Action Center is committed to the building broad-based grassroots coalitions to oppose to U.S. wars abroad while fighting against racism and economic exploitation of workers here at home. With every mobilization or campaign, the IAC strives to draw from the leadership, connect the struggles, and bring together communities of color, women, lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, youth and students, immigrant and workers' organizations in order build a progressive movement for social justice and change.
Ultimately it is our goal to work towards the liberation and freedom of all peoples living in the U.S. and around the world.”
The IAC was formed in 1992 by Ramsey Clark, former Attorney General during the Carter administration. A.N.S.W.E.R. is a derivative of IAC. Among its founders were member of the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party. You can read more about IAC here.
(3) The Peoples Power Assemblies (PPA) have appeared in Ferguson protests in New York.
Here’s how the PPA defines their mission:
“We must begin the struggle for people’s power
The only way we are actually going to have justice and build equality in this society — the only way we are going to build a society based on solidarity instead of profit — is to begin the struggle for power. That is why we have been talking about People’s Power Assemblies.
The U.S. imperialist ruling class wants to maintain the status quo — that is what the government is there for. The bosses will send their cops against strikes and people who mobilize in the streets to fight for their needs.”

(4) Let’s not neglect the CUNY (City University of New York) Internationalist Group/Clubs. They marched in NYC.
Join them and you “Join the Fight for Socialist Revolution.”
“We are the CUNY Internationalist Clubs, the organization of revolutionary Marxist students at the City University of New York. We seek to win students to the struggle to sweep away the wreckage of capitalism and to replace it with a socialist society.
Capitalism is a system that produces endless war, poverty and racism. Just look at the world around you…
So what do the CUNY Internationalist Clubs do? Well, first of all, we educate ourselves and our fellow students about the struggle of the working class and the oppressed, and the revolutionary theory of Marxism, with forums, study groups, and our newspaper and other publications. Check out what we have to say, and come discuss it with us!”
And there are more.
With the death of Michael Brown the call when out to established socialist and Marxist activists groups across America to take to the streets in protests against an array of “anti-capitalist” and “anti-imperialist” causes.
The death of Brown was merely the pretext for protest.
They never miss an opportunity to take advantage of a crisis.
