The Koran says what it means and means what it says. When the Koran says, "And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction." it means utter destruction.

We are assured over and over again by prominent politicians and religious leaders and scholars across the globe that ISIL is an aberrant mutant with no legitimate lineage to Islam -- the religion of peace.

Here is British Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond:

ISIL’s so-called caliphate has no moral legitimacy; it is a regime of torture, arbitrary punishment and murder that goes against the most basic beliefs of Islam.

Then there are our own benighted instructors on the true Islam led by none other than President Obama who warns us the “the future will not belong to those who slander Islam” and that ISIL “speaks for no religion.” Dutifully following the president’s lead, here is Secretary of State John Kerry:

There is evil in this world, and we all have come face to face with it once again. Ugly, savage, inexplicable, nihilistic, and valueless evil. ISIL is the face of that evil, a threat to people who want to live in peace, and an ugly insult to the peaceful religion they violate every day with their barbarity.

Lest ISIS brutality awaken Western leaders from their Panglossian PC dream world, leaders of the Ummah are in full damage control to keep our PC zombies in their self-induced fantasy about reaching out to moderate Islam -- the religion of peace:

Here is the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia (The same Grand Mufti who has called for the destruction of all Christian churches in the Arabian Peninsula.):

Extremist and militant ideas and terrorism which spread decay on Earth, destroying human civilisation, are not in any way part of Islam, but are enemy number one of Islam, and Muslims are their first victims.

And the king himself, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz (The leader of a Kingdom that forbids entry to anyone carrying The Bible or any Christian symbol and considers atheists terrorists. The Ministry of Iraqi Foreign Affairs received the speech of His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz King of Saudi Arabia on the first of the month of August in which he announced openly that it is defective and a shame that these [ISIL] terrorists are killing the soul that God has forbidden to kill, and proud to publish them, all in the name of religion, and religion innocent of them and they distorted the image of Islam and humanity and clarity and plastered in it all the bad qualities by their actions and their insolence and fresh crimes.

On and on it goes. The voices from the Ummah, their leadership threatened by ISIL, are in full damage-control mode to lull our smart diplomacy mavens back to their dogmatic slumbers and make sure they still cling to the holy of holies of PC-think: Islam is a great and noble religion. Wittingly or unwittingly they are the voices of Islam’s useful idiots.

Everything ISIL does in the name of Allah is fully supported by the Koran. The leader of ISIL, Baghdadi, has a Ph.D in Islamic studies.

While ISIL and hard core Islam are on the march our noble leaders are dancing the taqiyya and romancing the Koran.
