Who better to push the pendulum to the wall on the idiocy of casual gun imagery than Uncle Joe?

Please take note all you grade school bureaucrats that defend your positions and pensions by over reacting to little kids forming their hand as a pistol, or chewing a pop tart into something that resembles a gun.

Meaningless and harmless gestures are just that.  Is anyone outraged that the VP would take a “thumb up and finger pointed” pose, two handed even, on the podium in the Rose Garden?  Does Joe get a pass for this?  He should. And so should little kids in school.

Joe isn’t going to miss school, his parents aren’t going to have to hire a lawyer, and he isn’t going to be scarred by this incident.  Let reason and good judgment be the guide in matters such as these. Did Ed Henry duck? And Joe, don’t shoot yourself in the foot.
