Rand Paul calls out Democrat 'GOP war on women' hypocrisy
The Democrats get away with posing as the defenders of women from horrible GOP ogres only because nobody dares to point out that they are the same party which defended, honors, and seeks to perpetuate the political dynasty of a president who seriously abused women on a regular basis. Yes, Bill Clinton, grand old man of the Democratic Party, defiled the Oval Office, taking advantage of a 20 year old intern, and ruined her life.
Yesterday, on Meet The Press, Rand Paul took the offense and pointed out the hypocrisy, much to the shock of host David Gregory. Via Mediaite:
In response to whether the Monica Lewinsky scandal that plagued then-President Bill Clinton's second term should factor into a 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential run, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told Meet the Press' David Gregory that he found the Democrats' "concocted" issue of a War on Women rich in light of Clinton's behavior.
"One of the workplace laws and rules that I thinkare good is that bosses shouldn't prey on young interns in their office," Paul said.
"I think the media really seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was twenty years old and an intern his office. There is no excuse for that. And that is predatory behavior. We shouldn't want to associate with some who would take advantage girl in his office...Really, and then they have the gall to stand Republicans are having a war on women?"
"Now, it's not Hillary's fault," Paul continued. "But it is a factor in judging Bill Clinton in history. This is in regard to the Clintons. Sometimes it's hard to separate one from the other."
