WH Functionary Fired for Candid Tweets
USA Today reports that White House official, Jofi Joseph, has been axed for sending hither Tweets revealing secret information, insulting Obama advisors, and questioning the Administration's Benghazi yarn.
Jofi had been doing so for two years, proving that ObamaCare might last longer than anyone believes. Joseph tweeted under the not-so-clever nom de guerre "@NatSecWonk."
Reports USA Today:
While tweeting as @natsecwonk, Joseph criticized White House policy as well as the intellect and appearance of his bosses. He even insulted officials by name, including Secretary of State John Kerry and former National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, The Daily Beast reports.
"I'm a fan of Obama, but his continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like (White House senior advisor) Valerie Jarrett concerns me," he tweeted.
Jofi might be in bad favor with the prez and his former colleagues, but his candor is a breath of fresh air from an administration all about spin and enforcing the party line.
But the precocious Jofi lost me when he suggested that "someone... should get rid of Sarah Palin and her white trash family."
Vile disparagement and veiled threats against conservatives and their kin are de rigueur among our leftist brethren, so, evidently, Jofi's poisonous tweet aimed at Palin and her family didn't raise red flags amongst his White House chums.
The breaker for Tweetin' Jofi was casting doubt on Mr. Obama's and Ms. Clinton's Benghazi fiction.
The search intensified after @NatSecWonk repeatedly expressed doubts about administration accounts concerning a Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya.
Oh, my, so Jofi, part of the Administration's national security apparatus, thought - or knew - that there was something queer about the president's Benghazi soft-peddle?
Jofi needs to be yanked before the House Oversight Committee for a little probing, don't you think?
