Rachel Jeantel's makeover
When she appeared on CNN last night with Piers Morgan to explain the difference between ni**a and ni**er, Rachel Jeantel was sporting a serious makeover. I just can't help wondering how that happened. It is not uncommon for attorneys to suggest attire to witnesses appearing on their behalf, but if special prosecutor Corey offered any advice to Rachel, one suspects it was limited to "wear something nice," leaving the young woman at the mercy of her closet and her tastes.
Since she exploded onto the national psyche, she has enjoyed expert advice and access to clothing and aestheticians that could not have been cheap. So who is fronting the funds, who is managing her image?
