How clueless is the RNC?
Psst! Somebody tell Reince Priebus about the blogosphere. Evidently, neither he nor anyone else at the RNC understands the new information order the internet has wrought. William Jacobson of Legal Insurrection, a site which regularly breaks new ground in coverage of politics (see for example LI's coverage of Elizabeth Warren's phony claims of Cherokee ancestry when it gave her a leg up in academia) discovered that the 100 page exercise in navel-gazing just published by the RNC does not once even mention blogs:
The RNC rolled out its 100-page report on what went wrong in 2012 and what could be done better.
The report has 39,136 words in it.
One word is missing.
Tells you everything you need to know.
Contrast:
with this:
Obviously, neither Reince Priebus nor anyone else at the RNC will read this blog item, since apparently they don't even know that blogs exist and are read by the most committed and intelligent political activists. But I ahve to say that is both shocking and pathetic
Note: Elizabeth Warren now sits in the United States Senate, in part because the GOP powers-that-be failed to take advantage of the excellent work Legal Insurrection did uncovering her lies and evasions about her claim of Cherokee ancestry.
A stunning display of political incompetence!
