Remember how funny it was...?
Do you remember how funny it was when an Iraqi journalist threw a shoe at President George W. Bush? When they weren't obsessing about the decline of American diplomacy under Bush, for days the American national media repetitiously showed photos and videos of the event on the evening news and online.
Because this latest Middle-East event involved lots of people rather than just the one, many shoes - and produce, too -- the media and the American left must find it to be hilarious, right?
"Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi."
I'm certain there's a point - or several -- in there somewhere, but I'll rely on the American media to discover and report it.
Cue the crickets...
